(Gen 26: 1-3, 6, 12-13)
Know that you ought to stay in any land God tells you to until otherwise. Likewise, you stay in any business He tells you to until you hear further instructions.
In the first series, we established that The Blessing produces results without pain. When you carry The Blessing, you would not lack results. In fact, The Blessing may not be visible, but its results are visible. You have to note that it is possible to have results and not be blessed because there are other sources that produce the results, but it is not possible to be blessed and not have the result of The Blessing. You may not have shown up yet, but the result are still coming, it is a matter of time. Whoever is blessed would soon be identified, it is a matter of time. So, don’t let those who have the result of The Blessing so early to make you frustrated or discouraged. You may lose any other thing but whatever you do, don’t have a feeling that you have lost The Blessing.
A blessed man is like a pregnant woman; it is not everything she can eat and she cannot sleep anyhow. A man with The Blessing must live circumspectly and a super-conscious life. He must know what he cannot do or what he cannot drink or thoughts he cannot harbour lest he loses The Blessing. So, The Blessing produces results that are without pain. Other things can produce results, but they cannot guarantee the price that comes with it. Be careful who you celebrate too early; be careful who you envy too early because it would soon be clear whether it is The Blessing or riches. A rich man can lose his riches in a single attack, or even with the change of administration but a blessed man is blessed forever. The blessed man is he who can say, the longer I live, the brighter I shine (Proverbs 4:18b). So, in the first series, we established that there is no location that a blessed man cannot prosper in.
Going further, The Blessing protects. Whatever riches or wealth you have, you need The Blessing to preserve it. It is not guaranteed without The Blessing and that is why by its nature, it gives you what money cannot buy. When you carry The Blessing, you are protected. Psalm 105:14-15 says He suffered no man to do them wrong: yea, he reproved kings for their sakes; saying, touch not mine anointed, and do my prophets no harm.
The Blessing fight curses. Remember the story of Balak who commissioned Balaam to curse the children of Israel that he may prevail over them. But despite the sacrifices and altars raised, the Bible says in Numbers 23:20 that, behold, I have received commandment to bless: and he hath blessed; and I cannot reverse it.
You have to remember that the children of Israel were just progressing; so were unaware of the strife going on over their progress. They would have been rudely shocked, but The Blessing protected them and fought against curses and manipulations. Anyone who carries The Blessing is untouchable. Gen 12:2-3 says And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing: And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.
I am saying all these things so that your consciousness is more on The Blessing than any curses. If you have the blessing, not only would curses be powerless over your life, the blessing will also fight the curses for you. Nothing guarantees establishment like The Blessing, this is why you must engage the heavens and invite The Blessing on you and your family. Jesus is that blessing!
