Ephesians 3: 10
So now through the church the multifaceted wisdom of God [in all its countless aspects] might now be made known [revealing the mystery] to the [angelic] rulers and authorities in the heavenly places.
There is wisdom for everything. All that this text seems to suggest is that there is wisdom for everything. The presence of trouble suggests the absence of wisdom.
Wisdom is the greatest virtue that every believer must wake up to pursue, possess and practice daily. There is no value in the wisdom you possess but do not put it into practice daily. The beauty of wisdom finds relevance in the place of application. Wisdom is a demonstrable virtue. This means it is not a virtue to possess in a hidden state.
The remarkable thing about wisdom is that it finds expression in every aspect of life. It is called the multi-faceted wisdom of God. Whatever aspect of life you are struggling, watch closely, it indicates the lack of wisdom. For instance, for a man, although it is generally noted that the ultimate need of a man in his partner is ‘respect’, acceptance is the best way to communicate respect to a man.
Recently, a neuroscientist, Phillip Gesny discovered that wisdom drives compassion, and the proof of wisdom is that a man has compassion. The six components identified are:
Compassion
Control- Mindfulness or the capacity to keep your emotions under control.
Decisiveness- Wise people do what they should do when they should do it.
Diversity-Wise people have the ability to relate with different editions of people. They have latitude to accommodate difference. You are not wise if your only appeal is to ‘sameness’.
Your access to success will most likely come from people who are different from you. Wise people create room for difference.
Reflection- Wise people take time to reflect on their choices, their decisions, their actions and their reactions. It is one of the proof or wisdom to reflect choices and results daily. As it is said, an unexamined life is not worth living. The reason you persist in a wrong behavior is because you fail to re-examine it daily.
Spirituality- All wise men anchor themselves to a higher being. The rule is that the more spiritual you become, the wiser you are supposed to be. If you aren’t wiser in tandem with your spiritual growth, it begs the question of the nature of spirituality you dabble in.
Life is hard. It is harder for the foolish. Wisdom makes life easier to live. Wisdom is the most valuable commodity, pursue wisdom. Do not just pursue education, pursue wisdom. It is dangerous to pursue education or training and not be wise. In the Bible, wisdom was described as revelation knowledge.
Proverbs 4:7 (AMP)
The beginning of wisdom is: Get [skillful and godly] wisdom [it is preeminent]! And with all your acquiring, get understanding [actively seek spiritual discernment, mature comprehension, and logical interpretation]
Wise men prosper,  command favor and  results. When you pursue God’s valuable commodity, you become one of God’s most valuable personalities on earth. He who pursues wisdom shall have men pursue him. You want to have the advantage in life, begin to pursue the wisdom of God.
Ecclesiastes 10:10 (NASB)
If the [a]axe is dull and he does not sharpen its [b]edge, then he must exert more strength. Wisdom has the advantage of bringing success.
Wisdom has the advantage of bringing success. Wisdom is available to all but accessible to few. Many do not access it until they have first encountered the reward of foolishness.
Proverbs 3:13 (NIV)
Happy [blessed, considered fortunate, to be admired] is the man who finds [skillful and godly] wisdom, And the man who gains understanding and insight [learning from God’s word and life’s experiences]
The beginning pf wisdom is to acknowledge that you lack wisdom in that capacity.
BENEFITS OF WISDOM
