YOU CAN NOT BE ANOINTED AND BE SECLUDED; YOU NEED MEN

“Prayers are not answered by spirits. God answers prayers, but through men. If you pray for a car and a spirit gives you a car called the spirit model, can you drive it? You cannot be established without men.
The prayer that is yet to be answered is the person you are yet to meet. The shocking thing about life is that the person who will help you doesn’t always look like it. Life is a series of connections.”

These are mind-blowing revelations from Rev. Sam Oye, the Lead Pastor of The Transforming Church International and the Convener of the Prophetic Prayer Hour (PPH), who continued his teaching on the Secret of Maximizing Divine Connections, Under the Great Grace for Divine Connection Series, zeroing in on the secrets for attracting and maximizing divine connections on Sunday, July 9, 2023, at the Church Auditorium, end of 7th Avenue, Anwalu Anwar Close, after Lube Gas Station, Gwarinpa Estate, Abuja.

In the rather short sermon, Rev. Sam elaborated on the secret to attracting and maximizing divine connection, which is Pursuing God. “Life becomes easy for any man who pursues God. If you follow after God, your steps will be ordered.”

“Life becomes easy when your steps are ordered by the Lord. Losses are minimized and eliminated. Pain is avoided when your steps are ordered by the Lord. People move into profit when God orders their steps.”

“Regrets are a result of steps that are ordered by your eyes or thoughts. When your steps are ordered by your eyes, your eyes will see pain. When people’s opinions dictate your steps, regrets will be the end. There is a way that seems right to a man, but the end leads to destruction.”

“Your prayers from this moment onward as a Christian should be, – God order my steps. When God order’s your steps, your answer will come through people and it will be grand. Value people.”

“Everybody comes to church and wants to be helped; that is a positional reality, but experientially, you want to make sure you enjoy the help of God, which is by your steps being ordered by Him.”

Citing an example of the preparation for the Lord’s supper from Luke 22:7–12, he said Jesus needed a man for the venue of the supper “and said to the owner of the house, ‘The Teacher asks: Where is the guest room, where I may eat the Passover with my disciples?’
He will show you a large room upstairs, all furnished. Make preparations there.” It means Jesus had a relationship with the owner of the house; we need people.

Rev. Sam further admonished the congregation to pursue God; He will attract men to them.
“One of the secrets of attracting divine connection is to pursue God. Every time God wants to change your life and season, he brings an introducer into your life.”

May God not allow us to lose an introducer because your eyes are only on money.

You need people. If you are struggling in life, look around you; there are no men. The struggle is because of the absence of vital relationships. Often, before the true helpers come, the fake ones come. Beware of early invitations to be assisted; pursue God.

The ones you don’t need invite you, the ones you need God bring into your life.

If you want those around you to help you, get to the place of prayer. Pursue God.
