Overcoming hindrances of great destiny.

By Rev Sam Oye

(Isaiah 45:1-3)

“This is what the Lord says to his anointed; to Cyrus whose right hand I take hold of to subdue nations before him and to strip kings of their armor, to open doors before him so that gates will not be shut. I will go before you and will level the mountains. I will break down gates of bronze and cut through bars of iron. I will give you hidden treasures, riches stored in secret places so that you may know that I am the Lord, the God of Israel who summons you by name.”

God has a great plan and purpose for our lives. According to Dr Morris Cerullo, God is a God of purpose, plan, pursuit and objectivity. God didn’t create us to figure out what to do with us, He already knows what to do. God never creates without a purpose. Your existence is a proof that God has a purpose and plan for life.
“For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future”  Jeremiah 29:11
Therefore, why do people with great potentials live without maximizing their full potential? The reason great people don’t fulfil their destiny is because they are ignorant of the archers. The Bible says in Genesis 49:23 “With bitterness archers attacked him; they shot at him with hostility”. This verse was in reference to Joseph because He fully understood what God’s purpose for him was. Archers don’t shoot ordinary people because they don’t have too many arrows to waste. Therefore, archers maximize the use of their arrows. Out of all the children of Jacob, only Joseph had archers shooting at him. Archers shoot at people out of sheer bitterness and hatred not because they have been offended. They can shoot at a heart who is good towards them. Archers shoot arrows of sudden affliction.
God will break the bow of your archers in Jesus name, amen.
