YEAR OF FLOURISHING AND THRIVING SUPERNATURALLY
Minister: Rev Dr. Sam Oye
Text: Ecclesiastes 10: 10 (NASB)
Topic: FLOURISHING AND THRIVING THROUGH WISDOM
“If the axe is dull and he does not sharpen its edge, then he must exert more strength. Wisdom has the advantage of giving success.”
Exerting strength sometimes does not mean it is hard, but your axe edge is dull. In certain situations, it is possibly the case that too much violence is a product of a foolish person. Many marriages are breaking, nations are in a mess, businesses are failing because there are too many fools in it.
These concepts of life are not necessarily that difficult, it is possible that your axe is just too dull. Nations can change and evolve if they are led by men whose axes are sharpened. We have to believe that everything can be better.
The two major areas human need to succeed is in our finances and relationships.
Wisdom for flourishing and thriving financially:
- Beware of impatience, hurry and shortcuts:In the school of wealth, one thing that is not synonymous to it is impatience. Wealth creation is a marathon and not a sprint. In essence, you should understand that building wealth takes time. Beware of shortcuts, hurrying and impatience.
Proverbs 21: 5 (TPT)
“Brilliant ideas pay off and bring you prosperity, but making hasty, impatient decisions will only lead to financial loss.”
Impatient decisions will lead you to losses. The common problem of the black community is that we do not like financial education, we do not like to read about money, and we do not understand the science and art of money. People are destroyed for lack of knowledge. Shortcuts will cut you short and hasty shortcuts will always lead to losses.
In the school of wealth, there is the law of financial accumulation. This is the law that most wealthy people hold onto, and the top is reserved for those who obey this law. The law of wealth creation will catch up with you if you fail to follow the right path to wealth accumulation. To rise in wealth, what you must bring along is patience – give yourself time because it will take enough of it.
