Topic: Exercising your Authority [Part 2]
Anything you don’t exercise you don’t master, anything you don’t exercise you don’t grow. It is important for you to know that exercise brings mastery. You want to get better at anything, do it over and over again because exercise is the key to mastery. However, the rule is that you must do it when nobody is putting an eye on you so that when people put their eyes on you, they will be amazed at the result you produce. Never rehearse on stage, rehearsal is not for the state, the stage is for rehearsed people. You cannot manifest in the public what you have not commanded in the secret. As such, the God you have not met in the private, you cannot display in the public.
It is critical for us to realize that those who have developed mastery are in demand and can I shock you, they are very few. The top is not for those who have not developed mastery and the world will not sympathize for your lack of preparation. Show up in places where you don’t have to beg, because you have the required mastery. Get good at what you do.
Proverbs 22:29- Seest thou a man diligent in his business? he shall stand before kings; he shall not stand before mean men.
One of the things you need to exercise is your authority. Luke 10:19- Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.
It is remarkable that despite the authority Jesus gave to you, the adversary is still having dominion over you? Please note, it is not because the adversary is that powerful, it is because you fail to exercise your authority.
How do you exercise this authority? In this kingdom we manifest what we carry inside as authority by speaking.
Numbers 14:28 (NLT)-Now tell them this: ‘As surely as I live, declares the LORD, I will do to you the very things I heard you say.
This means that if God will do it, man must say it. Turn to your neighbour and say, ‘say something’. The devil never backs down from people who aren’t assertive. Job 22:28 (AMP)- You will also decide and decree a thing, and it will be established for you; And the light [of God’s favor] will shine upon your ways. What do you want to see in your life? Decide and decree it. You have to understand that most times believers decree things they have not decided yet. You must decide, then declare. Before engaging in a battle, decide the outcome and then decree that. Your decision and the declaration must match. Start speaking, it works. Exercise your authority, manifest your dominion. Speak to your situation, command the days, exercise your authority.
