Topic: COVENANT SECRETS FOR EXTRAORDINARY KINGDOM SERVICE: THE SECRETS OF REWARDABLE SERVICE.
I used to think service is employment and in the actual fact, it is. But in this text we read, reverse is the case. Whereby by service, you employ God. Your job is just to serve, every other thing is for God to do on your behalf. So, I discovered that your service engages God. Today, I want to show you how to serve God and get a reward. Although we don’t serve for reward, our service attracts rewards. This means you are entitled to all these promises if you will serve.
Before we go into this proper, I feel we need to re-establish the foundation for service. Before we say you need to serve God, it is important to know who God is to you and what God has done for you.
- God made you.
- God endowed you. Whatever makes you feel special or gives you an advantage, it is God who endowed you.
- God protects you.
- God sustains you.
- God loves you.
- God redeemed you.
- God favours you.
- God owns you-The proper response to ownership is service.
Also, the end of all things is service because the reason for existence is service. Conversely, unwillingness to serve is the reason why existence should not continue. Turn to your neighbour and say, “you live to serve”. Genesis 2:15 (AMP) – And the Lord God took the man and put him in the Garden of Eden to tend and guard and keep it. This text suggests that purpose necessitates creation. It is purpose before creation and manufacturing. God had a purpose in mind for which Adam was created. Man was ultimately created to replicate heaven on earth but on the contrary, man is taking cue from the world, not the heaven. Today, even believers copy their lifestyle from the world. Hugely desensitized to wrongdoings. Romans 1:28 (AMP) – And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient. Our assignments as believers is to be ambassadors of heaven. To lead people into heaven. We must market what our kingdom has to offer otherwise there are people aggressively marketing the other kingdoms to them. We can’t only be talking about these messes, we have to do something about it and the time is now.
