Ephesians 3: 10
We all need Wisdom. The beautiful thing about wisdom is that you will never come to the finality of it. You will never get to a moment in your life where you will say, “I have exhausted the wisdom of God”. The absence of the need for wisdom is indicative that you have reached the finality of the zenith of your growth. Growth will always require wisdom. Wisdom is critical. In fact, the absence of wisdom early in your life would cause you to make a lot of mistakes that ’ll require a lot of corrections later.
The best time to embrace wisdom is early in life. The best time to teach young people about wisdom is early in their lives. You do not have a problem with money or people, you have a problem with wisdom. In the area where you have wisdom, you will do well.
Constant troubles are indicative of the absence of wisdom. If you’re always having clashes in relationships, it shows that wisdom is absent in one or all. The proof of foolishness is crises. When you do not have an explanation for how your money is spent, there is foolishness in that area of your finances. It simply means that you do not have the wisdom for managing money. In the area you lack wisdom, you will suffer. Your suffering is not because the devil hates you, it is because you do not have an appreciation for wisdom. Wisdom is the greatest treasure every believer must pursue, possess and practice always.
The 6 Components of Wisdom
Compassion – Wise people care about others.
Control – Wise people practice mindfulness. This means you are always in control of your emotions. When you feel it, you do not do or say it without reflection. You ensure you process your thoughts before you express them. You do not talk and start thinking,  what have I said? Mindfulness requires properly guided and guarded emotions. This is emotional intelligence. The Bible says the wise man guards his mouth.
Proverbs 21:23
“Watch your tongue and keep your mouth shut, and you will stay out of trouble.”
Do not tear what you’ll be looking for later. The proof of wisdom is guarded emotions. The proof of maturity is a delayed reaction – a proof of wisdom. Wise people delay reactions and gratification.  That I want it, doesn’t mean I should have it. Wise people always think about the outcome of an engagement. Wise people who have children always think about their children. They ask, “How will my children see me?” Wise people do not want to transfer names that become a burden to their children when people mention your name. The older you get, the slower you should be in making choices.
Decisiveness – Wise people choose and act wisely and timely. It is not just about making a wise choice; it is critical to make a wise choice and act on it in a timely manner.
Diversity – The capacity to create room for different expressions of human beings to come into your life and play their roles. It is the capacity to accommodate differences. Wise people are very diverse, and that is why they grow and succeed. Wise people create room for each other. Wise people do not consume each other, we celebrate and honor each other’s differences. We create room for each other to flourish. The best of us handles the most important assignment. There is no role for just a man when a couple operates as a team.
Reflection – Wise people take time daily to reflect on their choices, decisions, actions and reactions. Wise people are quick to apologize. Anywhere you see arrogance, you see foolishness.
Benefits of Wisdom
Wisdom attracts unhindered progress and success. If you want to succeed all the time, embrace wisdom.
Proverbs 4:11 – 12
“I have taught thee in the way of wisdom; I have led thee in right paths. When thou goest, thy steps shall not be straitened; And when thou runnest, thou shalt not stumble.”
Wisdom turns ordinary people into extraordinary leaders.
Deuteronomy 34:9 (NKJV)
“Now Joshua the son of Nun was full of the spirit of wisdom, for Moses had laid his hands on him; so the children of Israel heeded him, and did as the LORD had commanded Moses.”
Wisdom is transferrable. Your access to greatness is wisdom.
Wisdom turns you into a leader in your industry.
Ecclesiastes 10:10 (NLT)
“Using a dull ax requires great strength, so sharpen the blade. That’s the value of wisdom; it helps you succeed.”
Wisdom will put you on demand.
2 Chronicles 9: 23 (NLT)
“Kings from every nation came to consult him and to hear the wisdom God had given him.”
Wisdom brings deliverance. Every battle doesn’t require a fight.
Ecclesiastes 9:15 (AMP)
“There was a little city with few men in it and a great king came against it and besieged it and built great battlements against it. But there was found in it a poor wise man, and by his wisdom, he rescued the city. Yet no man [seriously] remembered that poor man.”
1 Samuel 18: 5 (KJV)
“And David went out whithersoever Saul sent him, and behaved himself wisely: and Saul set him over the men of war, and he was accepted in the sight of all the people, and also in the sight of Saul’s servants.”
Wise people always gain the acceptance of others.  Warring people normally face rejection; wise people face acceptance. You can hate a wise man, but you can’t do without him.
1 Samuel 18: 14 – 15 (KJV)
“And David behaved himself wisely in all his ways; and the Lord was with him. Wherefore when Saul saw that he behaved himself very wisely, he was afraid of him.”
1 Samuel 18: 30 (KJV)
“Then the princes of the Philistines went forth: and it came to pass, after they went forth, that David behaved himself more wisely than all the servants of Saul; so that his name was much set by.”
